CONCERT AT ST. MARY'S HALL.
As anticipated, St. Mary's Hall was packed on Wednesday eveiing by a very enthusiastic audience, who, judging from their liberal applause, bestowed on all the of the programme, thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment given by the members ot tfce choir, assisted by the Coin Minstre's, The programme, as advertised, was carried out, with the addition of a poen song by Mr. Woodard, which , took immensely. The Nigger boys were in fine form, and g4ve some capi f il items, he part s>nga by tbe ehoir wt-ra well rendered, aod the tableau was a de cided success, Miss Fookes making an excellent " Britannia," and the lads in navy Hue showed to great advantage. Miss S irdish most ably prrs : d -i at piano, Befo o the las" part i >ng was giveD, tke Vicar thanked those present for attending in such large numbers, and told tlum he would have the satisfaction of feeling tbey had helped by thsir presence in the improvement of the chu'.ch grounds, not the least feature of which was the concrete wall. Hi also cordially thanked all who had tjkea pari in the entertainment, which bad been a thorough success.
