An application from one of the Board's tenants for a reduction in rent was referred to the New Plymouth House Committed to report on. The r< commendation of the New Plymou'h Hou>e Commit tee to increase the salary of the nur?es staff was adopted as from Ist Jnly. The qu- s'ion of obtaining cert'ficat'S for DUiws under the new Ho-pital N'lrees Rrgis ration 811 was rtfjrred to the Cnairman with power to act. A vote of thanks was passed to Miss Nicholas for a donation, the proceeds of a sacred concert in aid of the Board's funds. It was resolved to ios f ruct the Architect to call for tenders for the erection of a fence at the new OH People's Homp. Accounts amounting to £386 6s 5d passed for paym -nt. The Han era Hospital was inspected after the meeting, when everything wai found to be in good order, and the membrrs expressed themselves pleased at the general signs of good management which were manifest. 1
