HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF GOVERNORS.
The Board met at 7.30 p.m. on Friday. Present: Messrs. MacDiarmid (chairman), Roy, Berry and Weston. Captain Cornwall was granted leave "f absence from the meeting. A letter from the director of th Technical School, Willington, w s deferred for further consideration; and u letter was reid from the p iucipal cf the Girls' High Schorl at Obris'cburch, giving details of cookery classes. On the motion of Mr. Weston, seconded by Mr. Berry, the chairman was requested to undertake the p'ocuring of the school prizes. A sum of £2 2s, to b? divided equally between gi'ls and boys, was voted a i priz) money for gymnastics. It was decided to top-dress th 6 cricket pitch, the Chairman and Secretary being empowered to deal with the matter. Acc>uri's were pas-eJ, and the ra-e'-ing adjourned.
