Warriraoo, s.s., for Hobart, at 8 a.m. Poet Chalmeb?, June 18. Bakaia, s s„ for Timaru, at 10 a.m. The Oreti leaves Westport tJ-day for New Plymouth, with a cargo of coal for the Railway Department. A very heavy north-east gale was blowing last night with a very heavy sea. The Hotoiti had a big struggle making headway in the teeth of the gale. The Ngapuhi and the Takapuna both arrived from the north, the latter having an English mail on board. In consequence of the heavy gale and sea Captain Hood signalled the Takapuna to go on, as there would be considerable delay in getting alongside in the state of the weather. The Ngapuhi came ia as ! landed her passengers and left a?ain about midnight.
