The Telegraph states the workmen in the Baltic shipbuilding yard at St. Petersburg have struck, requiring the Government to bni d vefsels entirely in Russian yards. Other yards sympathising have struck n]«o._ A fire broke out at Galering Island, where there are thres Government shipbuilding yards, doing damage to the extent of 19 million roubles. The firemen saved a ba'tkship and cruiser under co ißtructinn and almost completed. Twen'y workmen parished in the flames. The strikers are sutpected | of causing the fire.
