George, s.s', for Durban, via Albany, at 8 p.m. The wharf at New Plymouth was taxe'l to ita uttermost on Sunday evening when the Upolu, 1141 tons; the Takapuna, 940 tons; and the Ngapuhi. 690 tons, Tutanekai, 680 tons, Hinemoa, 600 tons, making oyer 4000 tons in all, were in port together. The Hinemoa left after a very short itay, and the Tutanekai sooff after, both for Wellington. A couple of hours afterwards the Takapnna left for the north. In all about 600 people were landed. The conduct of the Upolu considerably puzzled a good <raay people in New Plymouth yesterday. Bhe arrived off the Breakwater about 12.30 from Nelson, but after signalling the pilotstation stood out to sea, she repeated this performance at intervals all tbe afternoon, running in alongside the Breakwater about 4.30 o'clock.
