VOLUNTEERS NOTES.
(By Ybtekah.) A large number of volunteers will entrain at New Piymou'.h to-night at 8.40 for the Empire City to tike part in the r-cep'ion ,of the Duke anl Duchpss of Cornwall. The corps entwining at New Plymouth consist of the Rifles, the Guards, the Garrison Bind, tho Egmont Mounted R'fl s (Okato) and the Opunake Mounted Rifles, Oa the way down the linq the Waitara. Ingle wood, Stratford, Eltbam and Hawera corps will ,b9 picked up. Tha Bittaiion will be under thp command of Lieut.-Colonel Ellis, Cap tains Okey and Taunton acting as Major and Adjutant respectively.. THE VOLUNTEERS Iff WELLINGTON. (From the Fveiling Post).
