TN HE THOMAS WILLING'S ESTATE. The following s'ntemtnt was mnde by Thomas Willing, fa, mer, of Egmont, Road, at a private examination by the D.0.A.. (Mv J. 0 Davies) on Friday, 3ht Miy :-1 came fr. m An'kland about five years since, and worked at Maraia as a labourer for about; six months. I then went to Egmont. road, rnd lived and worked as a labour, r on my fa'her's farm.- I still live th< re, rent fie°, and obtain woik wherevrr I can- got it. I hwe been tnarii.d 12 years, and have siven children. My wife owns a cow, a boi>e, tiap and harness, and a faw fowls. To purchase tfcese she borrowed £m from Mr T. S. Wesson, .£3O of I which has been repaid by proceeds from the sale of nine cows. She originally had ten. All my earnings have been us.<d to ksep the family. I havj absolutely no property beyond the furniture, valued at £2O in my statement of afi'airs. Ihadasiddle which was fold for £3 10s to raise money to pay the filing fees. I paid Mr Weston £B, a portion of which ray wife raised by s lling a hnse. My wife has no property beyor.d wha k I have s'ated. When I rcturm d to Egmont road my father he'ped me with a few cows, which wpre so'd over three years ago. That is all tbe assist nee I have received from my f •thor. I h*ve never beea. able to pay by way, and for the pi§t two ye irs have noo been able to obtain any credi*. The creditors nimed in my statement have owed for several years. lam -it pressnt out of emp'oyment, and hive nothing beyor.d what I earn as a labourer." I was insolvent and fi'ed in December, 1892, My esta'e paid 2s in the £. I have not obt lined or applied for a discharge. A me)ting of cre J .itois called for Friday lapsed for want of a quorum.
