The Upolu ia due here late on Sunday evening or early on Monday m'uing, she leaves again the same day for Dnnedin, via Wellington and southern ports. The Botoiti and Maponrika are due early this morning from eoath and north respectively. Aa an instance of the delays attending the working of bar harbours the Wellington Post says:—" At last, after eight days of detention at Foxton, the Kennedy managed te make her way ont yesterday, and arrived in port thia morning. The Queen of the Sonth, which arrived yesterday, was the only boat to get ont on the previous day. The Gertie, which is bound for Westport, also got safely ont yesterday, bnt when the Kennedy left the Himitangi was still a prisoner.
