The foreground to the city is the illumina'ions of th 9 war ships Royal Arthur, Riogarooma, Wallaroo and Mildura anchored invVeutral Bay. The cruisers Juno, St George, Fann Cove, and the Russian Gromoboi are outlined with electric and changing Col mred lights. The search and arc lighr-s are. flashing across the waters adding to the effect. A number of othtr vessels ia p-?rt are participating. Immense crowds are viewing the same frcm the foreshores and afloat. N.Z. GOVERNMENT HOLIDAYS. Wellington, May 30.
