PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wanganui, May 20. Tho election for the Maori Cour.cil, held on Saturday, resulted in the return of Takarangi Mete Kingi, Waata Wiremu Hipango, and Te Ahau Nikitini. These represent Maori 8' lection for the newly-created Councils, of which there are to be six in the North Is'and, each consisting of seven—thive fleeted by Maoris, three appointed by the Government, and the president appoiGted by the Governor.
