FUNERAL OF MR. W. W. KIRKBY.

The funeral of ttr=> late Mr. W. WKirkby took pl'ce at the Henui Cemetery on Friday afterroon, when a large number of friend l ?, including a representative of the News staff, attended to pay the last mark of rc-sp-ct to the deceased. M*ny beautiful floral tributes were received, showing the respect in which th« late Mr. Kirkby was held by a wide circle of friends. The impressive funeral Fervice was read by the Rev. F. G. Evane.

Amongst the many beautiful wreaths was one from the Wei iogton Sharo-broko-fi' Association, and one from the Herald staff. The S'oarebrokers' Ass)riation passed a resolution of sympathy for the family and friends of the deceased, and adjourned as a mark of ,rospect to his memory. The A T . Z. Times in a very sympathetic notice of bis death says :—" Mr, William Wynn Kirkby, fourth son of Colonel J.
