PAINTKKS DIBPUTB. PUB PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, May 7. The Conciliation Board to-day heard a dispute filed by the Napier Painter* and Decorator's Union, Wellington, The Wellington Union rent its Secretary to oppose the hearing on tho i ground that Napier being part of the Wellington Industrial district came within the scope of award already made with re«p»ct to that Union. The Board after heiriug the argument strongly advised the withdrawal of the dispute and that if later on there should be a dispute in this district the uniens or associations of employers preferring it should agree to submit claims that will be fair on the several parts of the di»trion, The Napier. representatives agreed to this recommendation.
