Note—The " M " Manure gave the best results in proportion to cost out of 19 experiments with Champion Swede Turnips at the Government Experimental Firm at Momohaki in 1897 (eee page 170, Fifth Report of Agricultural Department) : experiments made at Momohaki with various Manuies upon Turnips in the Season 1898-99 show that the bust result was obtausd from a mixture of one-third stemmed bone duit and two-thirds basic slag (Thomas' Phosphate), whilst the bert remit, at a minimum 008% was from a ffdcture of one-third Lawea' Superphosphate and two-thirds of the VV.M E Ci's "M ' Manure.
