" At the inquest on Jo eph Luk-y, who died under chlor-fo-m in tbe hospi'al, tbe evidence (hewed he was frightened when placed on the table, and was a highly nervous case. Tbe cause of death was shock only. A very small quantity of chloroform was given ; notbiag like a regular dov. A verdict of death by misadventure was le turned. Am old man named Clarke, a painter, while working at a house at Richmrn4, fe'l to the ground, a distance if about ten feet, aLd did in ab:ut ten minutes.
