Snow on low lying ground in April is an unheard of event, but showers fell at intervals throughout Saturday and in the evening, and Jay for some tune on the ground. There was a vivid display of lightning in the evening. It is fine bat cold to-day, the bills around the city having snow well down their ■lopes.
