The annual general meetiDg of the Taraaaki Rugby Union was held at. the County Hotel, Stratford, on Wednesday evening. On the motion of Mr. Buchanan, setoaded by Mr. Sput'dl*, the congratulations of the Union were tendered to Mr. R. B Tattoo, _ secretary of th<> Union, on his election to the mayoralty of Stratfoi d.
