CnnisTCHURCH, Apr! 18. A deadlock arises as to tbe residence of the R'jyal party during their stay here. Arrangement had been made by the government, and a contract sigDed, for them to stay at Cokers' Hotel. The Governor, on arrival here, objected to the pesition of the hotel and to the absence of gardens. Endeavours are being made to find accommodation tlsewhtro for the Duke and Duchess, while the suite would stay at Cokera. The proprietor contends that according to agreement he is entitled to the patronage of the Duke and Duchess, and failing this he objects to take the suite. Lawyers have bean engaged all dav on the mattor, and it is tow referred to the Premier. Wellington 1 , April 18.
