[PBB PUSS ASSOCIATION.] Tavkanga, April 16. The police have received information that Mrs Elizt Moon was burnt to deata tbis morning through her house being destroyed by fire, Th 9 deceased was 90 Tears of age. The pirticulars of the fire that caused the death of Mrs Moon show that deceased lived at the Gate Pa, three miles froos here. When the fire was discovered the cottage was ablaze, and it was impossible for anyone to enter. Her son Frederick, who usu tlly lived with his mother, was away from home, and no one was in the hous9 with fcer. After the destruction of the house the remains were discovered half-way between where the bed stood and the front door. The deceased was 95 yeaw of age, and resided here 40 years. Auckland, April 16.

A German, 0. 0. Zaudere, aged 55, was found dead- His wife returned from the country and discovered the body. He bad been dead about a week. Napibe, April 16. As the 3.5 train from Hastings to Napier drew up at Wakatu Flat station a young girl, about ten years of age, alighted and fell forward on her head and face, sustaining a slight concussion of the brain. On being taken to the Napier hospital it was found that no bones were broken and that her injuries were apparently only slight.
