Melbourne, April 2., Sir Jehn Quick ia a candidate for the Speakership of the Federal House. Pbrth, April 2. Sir J. Forres"; is disappointed at the Sections. Only a third of those entitled voted. gives oat a feeble indication tf the public opinion. Sir J. Forrest considers that the elections for the Semite or. a basis of one electorate means prastieaily that the selection is handed over to the gold fields population.
