GOLD PROSPECTING.
GOVERNMENT AID. PBB FBBBB ASSOCIATION* Auckland, March 31. The Government has decided to assist in boring operations along the foreshore at the Thames te discover if the lodes tending seaward can be intersected at a depth. Boring plant is to be lent free of charge by the Government, who also grant a subsidy of ten | shillings for every £ expended by the Victoria Geld Mining Company, who own the claim, the total subsidy net to exceed £IOOO.
