(Prom a Correspondent.) Thanks to the energetio and *raia*> worthy actios of Misses Musker and Kelly our Sunday School children* picnic a*me off on ths 23rd inat., and proTeda great success. The ifttier* readily responded to an appeal made by the ladies mentioned, so that the necaesary funds wore provided. The road to the beach where the pienio was held was in fplendid condition, and tho children thoroughly enjoyed their outing, la addition to the uaual amusements entered into by young folk* on tie beach the ladies had organised come races, and provided a capital aup. ply of toys, etc., for prisma, which war* eagerly competed for. Misses Huaker and Kelly desirve the greatest credit for the successful way in which they carried out their difficult task, and the settlers for their help, not only financially, but alao in lending conveyances to carry the youngsters out.
