(FKOM OUB OWN CORRBSrONDBHT.) The return match at tennis, Opunake andPilmna v. Manaia took pUce on Siturday last. Manaia brought up a team which was greatly strengthened by the inclusion of B. Hare and the Misses K. and G. Hare. It was therefore expected that the O.P's. would go down, but, as usual, however, the unexpected happened The two matches against Manaia and Stratford s->em to have put tte O.P's. iu great form and tbey succeeded in defeating Manaia by 12 games. F. Mason turned the tables on G. Cooper after a great game. B. Harp, however, amply avenged his defeat by beating the riev. Compton. The rest of the O.P. men scored heavily off Manaia. For tho ladies Mrs Raikea defeated Miss Yuung by 9 to 8 after a tpleudid game. Both ladies were warmly applauded for their fino display; The ladies double, Mr* Good aud Miss Burke v. Misses Hare acd Young was also a fine contest, the Manaia ladies winning. Cooper and Hare defeated Mason and Oomp'on after a good display of tennis. The following are the results:—
