[PBB PRBSB ASSOCIATION.] Chkistohubch, March 27. A Conference was held this evening between delegates from the Canterbury Employers' Association and the Trades Labour Council. The objeet was to discus 3 a proposal from employers that a j-int committee ba set up to consider tr.d« disputes so as te avoid reference to the Arbitration Court. It was d«cided that the delegates bring befoie both organisations the proposal setjup to a joint board consisting of a certain number of delegates from each body to discuss questions affecting them, with the object of btinging about more
