The Oonferenoe passed a resolution protesting against any attempt to legalise the sale of liquor in the K«wf Country.

Ciincell; Rahotu, Home Missionary; Waits™, Rew. S. J. Garlick and A. Ashcroft; Stratford, Rev. J. A. Lochmo : Hawera, Revs. J. Dukes and W. J. Orchard ; Opunake, Rev, O. Penny; Waogtnui, Rove. H. R. Dewsbury and W. R. Tuck; Rangitikei, Rev. W, Keale; Sanden and Feilding, Revs. A. C. L&wry and T. W. Veale; Palmare, on North, Revs. S. Lawry and T. W. Newbvld; Kiwitea, Rsv. J. Thomas; West Coast Maori Mission, Revs. T. G. Hammond and H. R. Hodder; Msngaw,tka and Waimarino, each a Home Missionary. A discussion took place with reference to the proposed appointment of an nssistant to the R«v. W. Gittes in his Maori work.
