FIRE IN THE EAST END.

About 9.45 on Monday evening the East End firs ball rang out the alarm in consequence of a fire which kad broken out at a stable used by Mr. Goodwin, pork butcher, situated ontke road at the east side of Mr. G. Wbite'a residence and leading to Ma jer Brown'a property. The building was entirely destroyed, but a trap was saved. It la b< lieved that some dogs were burned. So far as is known no <ne w»s at the building after 5 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. White kindly p r evided refreshments for the firemen who thoroughly appreciated the attention.
