The evening session was devoted to consideration of the Century Commemoration fund. An exhaustive report was presented showing the total ! amount promised to date fts follows Auckland District, £4365; Wanga|nui, £1588; Wellingt n, £2149; Nelson, £970; Canterbury, £5479; Ofago District £2503; from Melbourne, £3; Fiji, £9 6s; England, £ll lis; making the to'al amount promised £17,057 17s for the fund. It It was pointed out that in many circuits ia this colony there had beta a lack of organisation, the ConforOßOO therefore urged the necessity of aak« ing arrangement* for the further prosecution of the woik during tha year, and to complete the canvau in each circuit.
