He said he intec del to urga the Government to acquire a large of cargo steamers, t® export the products of the colony, and' place New Zealand on an equal footing; with other markets of tbo world, Mr. Andtrson. one of the directors, aaid tha'; Sydney was now the principal market for the Company's produoW, but if Federation closed this market they would have to aeek markets im America, Europe, and the Cape, a»4 competition would increase the quality of the Company's product.
