Dr. Sharman, Medical Officer of Health for the port of Auckland, ha' received the following t-hgram from Dr. J. M. Mason, the Chief Health Officer of the colony: —" Quarantine of 24 hours must be inforced against all Vessels arriviog from the Cape, Btiser Sydney. Vessels are also to be carefully inspected medically and cam, fumigated. This order is to taka e fi*ict from to-day. Please inform aWppiag ."onipaniee.'
