; (P.EB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) I Auckland, March 4. At the Supreme Court, before the Ohief Justice, a Maori was charged with the murder of Hihi Kiwi (bis wife) at Miranda on Decembfir 27th. Prisoner pleaded not guilty. Mr Tole, Crown solicitor detailed the particulars of the case as disclosed by the evidence. Later. The defence is that the woman's d«ath was caused by a fall from a horse and through being kicked by the tiorse after falling.
