(fhoM our own correspondent). The Wesleyan Harvest Thanksgiving Servicts took place on Sunday and Monday last in the Pungarehu Public Hall. Warea joining in the effort. T'r o sermons of suitable charactet s were preached by the Rev. John White and in the congregations (which were good) were noticed vi itors from Rahotn, Okato, Puniho and Wana. The col lections wero a substantial increase on last yeir. The Moi.day night socnl and sale of ptoduce was well attended First came a good musical programme Aftdr singing a«d prayer an organ solo was given by Mr 11. T. Whita, followed by songs from Misses Hughes < nd Elsie Symon°, a d'iet from the Mi*? Os Hughes, songs from Messrs Hy. Symoas, Arthur Harvey, Harold T. White, and A. Wells. Several encores were demanded and given. Next came refreshments served by the ladies. Afierwards the sale of produce, which, coiiKiJering the season, was a surprise to all. Tho decorations were much admired and all helpsrs wore heartily thanked.
