RUSSIA STRIVING FOR FURTHER CONCESSIONS. [PKB PRESS ASSBCIATION.] Received I, 0.30 am. London, February 28. The Pekin correspondent of the Times states Russia is pressing Yangyu, the Chinese plenipotentiary at St. Petersburg, to sign a further convention strengthening the exclusive Russian protection of Manchuria, and granting Russia special privileges in Northern China.
