(From Our Own Correspondent). Bbautiful weather was experienced for tho annual sports, which took place on Thursday, 21st, and a great succeti it was, many more peeple being pre* s-nt thin on any previous occasion, »nd a'l npparewly onjoying a good day's spore, and recreation. The rate realised the sum of .£9 this year and the dano in the evening brought in ! about £5 10. The schoolroom was 1 packed, aud proved as it has done en former occasions, much too small; how* ever, wu aie foot to have a large hall with a spring fiVor I believe, as I hear tbe timber fo it has been ordered. Many people aie still waiting to burn their bu.h; it is getting plenty lata enough new, but we don't seem to i;et a weuk's fine weather at a time or eisa there does not seem to be enough wind when we do gtta day, but an inferior burn this t,ea?on is preferable to leaving it altogether until season.
