McLaehlan won the 100 yds. in i 1) 4-ssecs, 440 yds. in lmin. 2-ssecs., the half-mile in 2mins. 6secs., and, running from scratch, was beaten by two yards in the 440 yds., which was run in ■]!) 1 Tisecn. F. Soxton won the Mile iu 4min. 41) l-ssecs. A. Carlson won tbo 120 yds. Hurdles, in 2Qsecs., Throwing tlio 161b. Hammer, distance 00ft. 3.! in., Tossing the Caber, Putting the (Shot, distance 40ft. Bin., and was second in the Long Jump, Hop, Step and Jump, and Bonier Wrestling, winning the medal presented by the Governor for the best all-routul athlete, K. Scott won all the wrestling, and taken the special prize presented by Mr. lv. J), J). McLean, for most points in wrestling. W. Wyeth won both hop, srop mid jump, 40ft 6in, and long Jump, 18ft 3in. S. L. Dalton won the j hi<jh jump, 5fR sin. W. Clarkson scored in the uiile bicycle raoe; time, 2miu. 25 3-ssecs. Iu Highland dancing J. MeKeehine won; for Highland fling and re<?), O. Tulloch; Seanntiub has the Highland reel, O. Smith winning the sword dince, and McKechine for pipap'ayii g marches, ]). Campbell btiog champion piper for pibroohs and >tia l)spcys and reels. The 120 Yards Huudicip and 440 Yards Handicap! weto both won by R. Strickland. A. Campbell won tho mile handicap, W.
