' As Mr. C. E. Bellringer was returning from the Drill Hall soon after 11 o'clock 011 Friday evening he noticed that a disused outhouse at the rear of Mr. 8, B. White's shop in Currie-streetwas on fire. He at onoe ran to Mr. Weale's and telephoned to the Fire Station and the alarm rang out directly.
