N.Z. UNIVERSITY SENATE.

PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, February 20. In his annual report Sir Jamer Hector, Chancellor of the New Zealani University, refers to the protest received against the action of the Senate in abolishing all but fonr large centres, for the November examinations.. Tke Parliamentary Committee also recommended that the five centres, proposed to be abolished, should be retained. The Premier had also written in tke same direction. The Senate would have to consider what action, if any, should be taken in consequenee of these representations. The proposed changes in connection with the Senior Scholarship land Solicitors' General Knowledge examinations were also referred to.
