Mr. Newtoh Kiko reports:— My annual Toko sheep fair was held on hu sday, Ibe7th insfc.. when owing to the prevailing scarcity of theep, there was a very small mualer. The comparatively small number yarded, however, met with very keen demand, buyers bein<; praent fo three cr four tim'e? the quantity ofL'ring. Bidding wjs very brisk from start to fii.ish, the sale being a hummer, and record prices were ob'ained for nearly all classes, f.m. ewes made 7s 4d to 12s; 2, 4, and 6toothe»es, 13*10 d; 4-tooth, 13s 7d to 14s 4d; wooly lambs, 8a to 9s ; cull shorn lambs, 4s 8d; wethers, 13s 8d to 14s 31. At Stritford, m Tuesday, cattle were yarded in excess of advertised numbers. The balk of them wer-/rteer3 and bullocks.
