A good number of Stratford people avai!el themselves of the cheap 'rips and went down to Wanganui or W. 1lington to s?o the Imperial truors. They all returnod delighted with th> trip, and thinking the troops one of the finest bediea of men they had ever seen. It is a'l the more to b) regretted that tt.e troopi were unable to visit New Plymouth, Eloquent testimony us to the growth of Stratford i& afforded by the new, lafant School, now approaching completion. It is a 6ne lari,'i building, capable of accommodating 300 children, ] and all the extra room thus given will be needed.
