ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[PEE pbbss association.] Auckland, February 6. A seaman belonging to the Abbey Holme heard shouting and saw a boy in the water near the Railway wharf. The seaman jumped in cad seized the boy, but owing to the current he could not retain hold of the Jad, who sank. The body has net b=.en recovered. The I name of the lad is not known.
GisßOftKE, February 6. Yesterday a young mar, Sydney Gardiner, had his leg very badly broken through a vehicle capsizing, tho horse having shied and tipped the vehicle ovar !an embankment.
A Maori infant was missing at Tuarastu laland. Oa going to gri water for dinner the child's dead body ran found in th:* well.
