Tha gold eutwred for duty for exportation from New Zealand for last year was 373,616 ounces valued at £1,439,002, a decrease of 15,942 ounces valued at £73,571 from tho previous year. Of this, Auckland coutiibuted 166,3420 m, Marlborough, 5350z5; Nelson, 3,7180z5; West Caast, 73,9230z9; Canterbury, 23ozs; Otago, 129,0750z5. The total expert from April 1857 to date is 14,608,901, valued at £57,406,100.
