An inquest was held to-day on Hector McCaughan who was found hanging on Monday last in a byre on his farm at Green Island. D.~eea<od, who had been behaving peculiarly for a little time before, got up early and went out. His wife, b'ing anxi-us, followed shortly and fou»d doeeased hanging. Whili* a nephew held him up she ran for a knifo and cut him down. Efforts wire made to revive lvm, ' vit hi never tegained consciousness ftnd died on Thursday.
