Bill, formerly of the Mapourika, has been transferred to the Te Anau- His place on the Vapourita has been tsken by Mr. 1L Horton, who was assistant en the Waibora, and Mr. H. V. Austin, of the Te Anau, has gone to the Manaponri. The Moura, which has been laid np for ■some time, has been again put on the Bast Coast route, under the command of Captain M'Donald, formerly of the Corinna. The cool way the N.Z. Times ignores Waitara and Waag&nut is very funny. It says: —"The Fifeshire is expected in Wellington «t the end of the week, and then goes to Southern ports to loid for London." The Waitara and Wanganui cargo evidently does not count. The s.s. Papanui, sailing from Wellington on January 31st, will be the next boat loading with dairy produce. The closing day at the Moturoa works will be January 24th, at 3 pm. 30
