Whip first shown some months ago, it crated a favourable impression. Su\ciCssive entertainments certainly enhan4i tint impression, and the many wonderful pictures shown well merit tllgjieartv applause bestowed upon them. A number of the geois of the first season are reproduced, but quite a number of new films are shown. These include some splendid pictures of tlie Kacsns L'iiBrigade team, the champions at the great Paris demonstration, performing some of their remarkable f.'ais; the battleship' Odin, shown with all her guns in actioD ; aud the torpedo bout destroyer Viper tearing through her trial trip at the rate of 36 miles an hour a truly sensational picture. Other films include the launch and rntnrn of the life-boat at Worthing, the Prince of Wales's .Darby winner Persimmon, a scene at the York Agricultural Show and some fresh war views, notably Lord Roberts meeting MajorGeneral Baden-Powell, the F eld-Mar-shall receiving a despatch while engaged with his stall' in planning an attack, and the hoisting of the.Union J.-ick at Pretoria; a number of pic ures from the new Chinese opera " San Foi," and a capital series of views of the Paris Exposition of 1900 taken from a captive balloon. Those who have patronised the Biograph need not be told that it is worth seoing again. To those who have not seen it wo can only siy that it affords a most interesting, pleasing [and inslructiva entertainment, rich ir variety and deligntful throughout. This is the unanimous opinion expressed wherever tho Biograph is shown. Meisss. Wyld and Fro damn lnve brought this wonderful ontertainmeni to a high pitch of perfection, which ensures delight to young and old. Tho season here is a short one of t">' o nights only.
