MAORI CHARGED WITH MURDER.
FBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, January 14. | The Inspector of Police has received | information of an inquest at Miranda, on the body of a Maori woman named Hikikiwi, whom death was allegod to bave been caused by her husband Rawiri. Evidence was to the effect that Rawiri knocked the woman's head against a stone on the road, and broke her jaw. The Jury returned a verdict of wilful murder against Rawiri.
