FREETRADERS ORGANISING PEE PBES3 ASSOCIATION. (Received 10,10.40 p.m.) Sydney, January 10. The Federal Cabinet further considered and decided upon the policy Mr. Barton will disclose at the meeting at Maitland sometime next week.
He refuses to say anything regarding the tariff beyond a statement that it will satisfy every reasonable man and that the unreasonable section will be dealt with afterwards. No s'epa will be taken to replace Sir J. G. Dickson till after the Federal meeting. The Freetrade Party are completing arrangements for the elections and have held an organising meeting. The New South Wales Freetrade Libaral Association has been established as an Australian Organisation and Co-operative Committees have been appointed to act with other colonies.
