REGULATIONS UNDER DAIRY INDUSTRY ACT.

The new regulations under the Dairy Industry Act, which are just gazetted provide for the registration of all dairies, which supply milk for consumption, and for the payment of ac annual fee of and the air space is to ba provided for each oow in the dairy byre is 500 cubic feet. Immediately after milking the milk is to be removed from the milking-shed and strained and cooled to a temperature ef not more than 65 degrees. No person who is suffering from any infectious disease, or who has recently been in contact with any snch person shall be permitted to milk a eows er take any part in the distribution of aflk. If any perron employed about a farm is attacked by any contagious disease the occupier of the dairy must immediately notify the In■peetor, who, if he thinks fit, may older that so milk be temoved from that dairy. Pigs ma} not be kept within a distance of 50yds of any cowshed or dairy buildings. It is illegal for any person to use milk from any bnt a registered dairy.
