Tuesdays, the 25tb December and Ist January, will be observed close holidays; but on Wednesday, the iiGbh instant, post j offices are to be open in all branches from j 9 a.m. to 10 a m. j On the 24th and 31st instant all receivers and posting boxes will be cleared, and the contents stamped and disposed of. Mails usually despatched on Tuesdays, the 25tb instant and Ist proximo, will be closed en the Monday nights at 7 o'clock. On the 26th instant the usual despatch of mails up to 10 a.m. will be made, and receivers and boxes cleared as usual. J On the 26th instant one complete delivery by carriers will be made at 8 a.m. _• On the Monday evenings, the 2Ub and 31st instants, a delivery of town letters (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the counter from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. , Sunday hours will be observed in the private bo: lobbies on the 2Sth instant and Ist proximo. U»ual hours on the 26th instant. The railway travelling post office will run as usual. All correspondence posted in the receiving box at the railway station will be sent on by steamer on Oliri&ttuas night at 9.15
