ON SATURDAY, 2'2nd DECEMBER, the mail train will ran between Wanganui, Waitara, and New Plymouth, connecting as on ordinary mail days with Wellington trains at Aramoho, and with steamer for Auckland at New Plymouth. ON MONDAY, 21th DBOTCMBER, the 4.0 p.m. train from Now Plymouth to Hawera will run through to Wellington, arriving thore at 8.15 i a.m. (20i.1i December), connecting at Palmer<.ton with train for Napier A train will leave New Plymouth at 10.30 p.m. and Waitara 10.40 p.m., for New Ply. mouth and intermediate stations. ON CHRISTMAS DAY trains will run as usual. RACKS AT NEW PLYMOUTH. SPOHTB AT NORMANBY AND PATJBA. ON BOXING DAY, 2Gin DECEMBER, tho usuai train service will be suspended. Trains will leave New Plymouth as follows : —For Wellington and Wanganui at 7.0 a.m., for Hawera and intermediate ftations at 7,45 a.m., 5.30 p m., and fi.s p.m. Trains for New Plymouth will leave Stratford at 8.0 a m., Hawera at 7.10 a.m. and 5.20 p.m., and Waneanui at 8.0 p.m. Th« 7.0 a m to Wellington and Wacganui, and tho 3.0 p m from Wanganulwill only make the usual mail train stoppages.' Trains will run on Waitara branch to connect with main liise trains. ■"*' ON THURSDAY, 27th DECEMBER; tM usual 4.0 p.m. train will be delayed to leave New Plymouth at 6.5 p.iti, for Hawera. Excursionists will also have an opportunity of visiting the large blook of land the Government are shortly going to open for selection, and the Hot Springs and Wonderful Oavaa on the Rakaunui River and Native Settlements.
