TENDER AOOEPTKD. (FSB PREPS ASSOCIATION.) (Received 4, 10.55 p.m.) London, December 4. It is officially announced that the pacific Cable Committee, on. behalf of the Tmparial and Goveramtnts, have accepted the tender eabled OB the 23rd ulto. [The tender is £1,895,000; miscellaneous supplementaiy expenditure amounting to .£80,000; making the total of £1,975,000. The Company bu undertaken to complete the line at ;the end of 1902, if allowed to start at lie New Zealand end, and work backiwards across the Pacific. The Gable Committee's engineer's estimate of £1,467,659 was made before the rise in guttapercha.]
