The granaries at Singanfu, upon | whiich the Court rely, contain only Bix weeks' supply. The Allies have decided to demolish the wall round Tientsin. Beblin, .November 29. The press imply that the Powers are hesitating to formally demand the execution of high Chinese officials, on the ground tbat politically it is not expedient to adopt such an extremb course. RUSSIA BEFRIENDING THE OULPRITS. (Received 1, 0.22 a.m.) ! London, November 30. The Times' Pekin correspondent states that M. De Giers, tbe Russian Minister, has withdrawn bis conßeut to the death penalty on the high officials and princes. He is pressing Ministers only to icsist that these officials be puuished in a manner acceptable to the Powers and emphasises Russia's friendship to China. 10,000 TROOPS JOIN REBELLION AGAINST THE EMPEROR. [Received 1, 0.22 a.m. Hong Kong, November 30. Missionary reports state that 10,000 of Tungfuhsiang's troops have entered Kansu province and joined Prince Tuan's rebellion against the Emperor.
